What exactly is cream soap? Neither liquid nor solid, it is actually a cream!
If you are interested in making cream soap, Soul Gazer Sundries can help you. As a soapmaker who didn't have time to constantly recalculate every ingredient and worry about not enough or too much of the critical amounts, this calculator took all the guesswork out of the initial preparation.
This Microsoft® Excel-based Cream Soap Calculator is designed to be used with any of the processes used to make cream soap. It is formatted to work with the following versions of Microsoft Excel: Microsoft® Excel 97- Excel 2003 & 5.0/95 Workbook and OpenOffice version 2.0.2 and greater. You can easily resize this calculator for use at your favorite screen resolution.

Easy as 1, 2, 3, 4! This calculator does it all. Select one of the tabs (Ounces, Grams, or Percents), choose your Ingredients using the drop down menus (over 125 ingredients to choose from!)enter your quantities (ounces, grams or percents), Superfat Percentage, and Water Factor. The calculator does everything else! And now, with version 2, you can even quickly resize your batch!
Features include an "At A Glance" section. Stearic acid in recipe: This isn't just the stearic you put into the recipe. This is also the stearic acid brought in by the various oils! Percent soft oils: You can see your total percentage of soft oils.
Percent as Castor: Castor is one of the secret ingredients of cream soaps. But too much of a good thing can still be devastating so you can see that you don't overdo it! Recommended Ratios: It is the bane of most cream soap makers to achieve balance in their recipe. Well, this calculator lets you see that too! Properties*: Included is a "Properties*" chart so you can easily see what your chosen oils bring to your recipe. *These values are ONLY for the oils and do not include the properties introduced by the pure fatty acids.
